We painted the following vehicles during
mid-2003. Interesting juxtaposition: two cars built almost 70 years apart...AND...both
very much alike stylistically!
The bad '34 Chevy panel delivery was a complete
"frame-up" paint job. The basecoat is House of Kolor black pearl
purple with a ghosted 3D graphic that runs along the sides and back. Under
that is the flame graphic done in a 3-stage pearl orange with beveled
edges.
The "PT USA" started with a kandy
red inferno base. Next, we installed and painted the rear spoiler and
hood scoop. Lastly, we laid out the pearl blue flames that fade to pearl
white, and finished 'em off with a gold pinstripe
