Painted!

A couple days after I primered the frame, it was warm enough outside to paint. Because of where I live, I was forced to take advantage of the weather, even tho’ it was a windy day.  Although I was pleased with the first attempt, there was more fine dust in certain areas of the finish than I cared to see.  Thus, I went ahead and sanded the offending areas that would show, and resprayed. The second time through, I was happier.

This isn’t a show bike, but I’m guessing when it’s bolted together, it’ll look at least as decent as the original factory job.  Heck, I even went ahead and sanded and smooth casting marks and weld splatter that the factory never cared about. Like I said, the final result will be more than acceptable when all is said and done.

(Y’know, even if I do say so myself, I have a helluvan eye for photography. Too bad I don’t have a camera worthy of my abilities. Heck, you can’t have everything... or at least I haven’t figured out how to do so yet.

...or maybe I have...
