Pan-Shovelhead Rebuild

This is a set of heads we rebuilt for Jakemon. We did a lot of the same work on his heads as we did on Dan's panheads.

Machine work:

Cleaned and bead blasted.
All threads cleaned, chased and chamfered.
Exhaust ports at the pipe clamping area were replaced.
Guide holes repaired.
Combustion chamber cracks repaired.
Valve cover bolt holes repaired, as needed.
Replaced guides and honed to fit valve stems.
Three-angle valve job for oversized valves.
Machined spring pads and set spring height.

New parts:

Rowe cast iron valve guides.
Rowe stainless black intake and exhaust valves.
Valve stem seals.
Modified top collars.
Manley springs with installed height set for lift of cam being used.
Manley chrome moly collar locks.

We can restore your heads regardless of their condition.

Almost ready to start machining the head.	We resurfaced where the rocker arms bolt on.	The oil passages there will leak if the head is warped.
