It started one day in back in March 2003, after one of the worst winters the northeast had seen in years. Tommy D. stopped by and made his request.

"I want a scooter and I need it this year, to ride this summer. ...and I want it FAT!" For the rest of the story, click here.

Well, it's a few months later, and the build is almost over. We're getting ready to reassemble the bike for the final time, and it's lookin' GOOD!

We're going to start this installment of the build with a set of images from the initial mock-up (below). You can see additional photos of the construction process, including some of the painted sheetmetal and frame, on page 2 of the mock-up process.
