| We started
by stripping the bike completely. The frame was molded and painted to match
the existing sheetmetal by Splatterhouse Graphics. We stroked the
engine out to 89 inches using S&S components, adding (among many other
components) S&S heads, 10.2:1 pistons, an S&S “E” carb, and Crane Hi-4E MSD
ignition system. On the exhaust side, the spent mixture is disposed of
through a Vance & Hines 2/1 Pro Pipe. The transmission is a 5-speed with Andrew's fly cut gears and uses a TP Engineering billet trapdoor. |

| For rolling stock, we added a set of Rev Tech “Scorpion” wheels with a matching rear pulley. Tires are Avon Road Runners. Brakes are by Performance Machine and use billet “quad” calipers with floating rotors. The bike’s forward controls are from JayBrake. |

| To make this springer a real stand-out, we polished the engine and transmission cases. Next, we asked ColorLife, Inc. to powdercoat the heads and barrels in a matching purple, and then polish the cooling fins. Other miscellaneous odds and ends include a Jagg oil cooler, and a bunch of Arlen Ness components (cam cover, tranny side and top cover, tappet blocks, grips). When saddle time comes, Lee rests his butt on a comfortable LePera seat. |
